Polemics have accompanied religious communities throughout history. The richness of religious polemics reflects the central role they have played in shaping religious traditions and their constant transformation throughout history. By means of seminars and presentations of texts from different traditions, the School aims to increase the understanding of the mechanisms and functions of polemics in religious life and their role in the transformation of the self-perception of religious communities.
