Scientists from Japan, China, Europe and the USA will come together to discuss recent discoveries in the involvement of modifications by involvement of modifications by ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like proteins in fundamental cellular processes, with special emphasis given to their involvement in the pathogenesis of disease, in particular – malignant transformation.

Topics to be addressed include: Structure, Biology and Pathology of UPS Components, SUMO, ER Stress, Oncogenesis, Cell Cycle, Signaling and Hypoxia, Apoptosis and Autophagy, Inflammation, Stem Cell and Cancer.
