Efraim Sicher and Mirja Lecke, eds. Cosmopolitan Spaces in Odessa: A Case Study of an Urban Context. Academic Studies Press, Boston, 2023.

Based on the research of the 2019-2020 IIAS Research Group, this multidisciplinary volume offers a debate over key issues in the history of cosmopolitanism in Odessa. Several issues at the center of the discussion are being fought over today in Ukraine and Russia, while the question of nationalism and universalism remains topical in Jewish history.
