The parietal lobes are a center of many important activities such as attention, decision making and selection, spatial orienting, and numerical processing. These structures are frequently damaged by stroke and produce debilitating yet extremely interesting deficiencies expressed in syndromes like hemispatial neglect, acalculia, and Balint's syndrome. These issues will be addressed in the workshop along with such interlinked topics as perception and action integration; time, space and mental imagery; memory functions; neuropsychology aspects and rehabilitation; multisensory integration and binding.
