conference

ORGANIZER:

Amiel Sternberg, Tel Aviv University

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE:

Tal Alexander, Weizmann Institute of Science
Avishai Dekel, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Dieter Lutz, Max Planck Institute
Dan Maoz, Tel Aviv University
Hagai Netzer, Tel Aviv University
Linda Tacconi, Max Planck Institute

This meeting will bring together all of the Israeli and German partners in the joint DFG "German-Israel Project in Astrophysics". The talks will focus on research questions that have emerged from multi-wavelength optical/IR/mm-wave observations of early galaxy and black hole evolution, via integral-field spectroscopy at the European-Southern-Observatory (ESO)-VLT, The Herschel and Hubble Space Telescopes, (IRAM) interferometry, and more.
