School of Dendrites

General Director:
Bert Sakmann (Max Planck Institute, Heidelberg)

Co-director:
Idan Segev (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem)

It is becoming increasingly clear that key plastic and computational processes take place in dendrites. This "school of dendrites" assembles top scientists who will discuss recent excitements in dendrites, including plasticity of dendrites and their synapses, modeling electro-chemical processes in dendrites and using optical probes to intimately view dendrites in vivo.
