Schwartz's association with the IIAS is longstanding. He began his journey with the IIAS as a fellow, contributing significantly to the "From Hellenistic Judaism to Christian Hellenism" research group in 2001, and later served on the Board of Directors.
The Landau Prize, named after Michael Landau, is one of the most esteemed awards in Israel, bestowed annually by the Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts since 2001. This award recognizes and honors outstanding artists, scientists, and scholars who have made significant contributions to research, science, the arts, and cultural life in Israel.
