Hen Cohen (b. 1983): A multidisciplinary artist working in photography, video, installation, and performance, based in Tel Aviv. Her artistic practice focuses on healing rights, the invention of rituals, creating situations, and collaborating with artists and patients in an expanding attempt to capture the elusive state of health and well-being, while reclaiming ownership of her body, with the camera serving as a witness to this process.

In 2018, Cohen won the Curator’s Prize at the “Fresh Paint” art fair and the Gérard Lévy Prize for Creative Photography from the Israel Museum (2019). She has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and internationally, including at Westwerk Gallery, Hamburg (2022), the Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv (2021), Cité Internationale des Arts (2019), and Line 16 Gallery, Tel Aviv (2018). Her works are held in collections such as the Israel Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Haaretz Collection, the Pompidou Center Collection, as well as in private collections worldwide.

Ms. Cohen Chen was Selected for the artist program at the Israel Institute for 2024-2025.
