Connections between Geometric Probability and Functional Analysis

Directors:

T. Szankowski (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
G. Schechtman (Weizmann Institute of Science)

Probabilistic techniques play a crucial role in modern functional analysis and are widely applied in several other braches of mathematics. This year the concept of 'midrasha' is to have an interdisciplinary summer school aimed at advanced graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with an interest in functional analysis, probability, combinatorics and theoretical CS.
