Berachyahu Lifshitz is a Professor and former Dean at the Faculty of Law at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has written extensively on various topics in Jewish Law and Talmud, the history of Jewish law and the Oral law, aggadah, the history, terminology and contents of contract law, and the status of the Supreme Court in Israel.
