Ellen Moss is a professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Quebec at Montreal, where she teaches courses on child development, family relations, and evaluation and treatment of behaviour problems. She has also been pursuing research on the effects of attachment relationships on cognitive, social and emotional development. Ellen is the Director of the Centre for Studies on Attachment and Family. The Centre is presently conducting longitudinal studies on the development effects of parent-child attachment relationships, as well as clinical-outcome studies evaluting attachment-based intervention programs with maltreated and other high-risk children and their families.
