Eran Laish is a PhD candidate in the department of Comparative Religion at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with minors in Cognitive Science and Religious Studies. His dissertation topic is the relation between philosophical principles and contemplative practices in the non-dual Tibetan tradition of "The Great Perfection". His main research interests are the ways through which the non-dual principle is expressed in Buddhist theory and praxis, especially in Indian and Tibetan tantric traditions, and the philosophical affinities of those with phenomenological descriptions of consciousness.
