Menahem is a professor in the Departments of Bible and Talmud at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests are the Jewish literature of the Second Temple period (Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, the Dead Sea Scrolls); Midrash and Talmudic literature, early Christianity in relation to Judaism; early biblical interpretation and Hebrew lexicography.
