Professor Michal Linial is a Professor of Biological Chemistry and the Director of The Sudarsky Center for Computational Biology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research interests are the dynamic processes of nerve terminals and the molecular aspects of synapse functioning, plasticity and maturation; the control of exocytosis in regulated secretory system of the parotid gland; and proteomics and genomics. She was elected a fellow of the International Society for Computational Biology in 2016 for outstanding contributions to the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics.
