Naama Friedmann is Professor of Education at Tel Aviv University. She heads the Laboratory for Research in Child Development and the Laboratory for Language and Brain. She completed her PhD in 1999 at Tel Aviv University in the field of Cognitive Psychology. After completing postdoctoral studies at the University of California San Diego, she joined the faculty of Tel Aviv University, and since 2003 has also been adjunct faculty at The City University of New York. Her research is on the modularity of language in the brain.
