Omer Bartov is the John P. Birkelund Distinguished Professor of European History at Brown University. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, he has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Guggenheim Foundation, as well as Harvard and Princeton Universities, among others.
