Ran Spiegler is Professor of Economics at the School of Economics of Tel Aviv University and holds a part-time position at University College London. Ran received all his academic degrees from Tel Aviv University. After completing his PhD in 1999, he spent two years as a postdoctoral student at the University of Oxford and the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton. Ran focuses on Economic Theory. In particular, he develops economic models with bounded rationality, which is currently one of the most active areas of Economic Theory. His book, entitled “Bounded Rationality and Industrial Organization,” was published in 2011.
