Sarah is a professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research interests are: history of philosophical and theological thought in Arabic in the early Islamic Middle Ages (8th-13th centuries C.E.); medieval Judaeo-Arabic literature; Muslims and Jews in Islamic Spain.
