Vered Noam is Professor of Jewish Studies at Tel Aviv University, where she is the head of the Program of Jewish Philosophy, Talmud and Kabbalah in the Department of Hebrew Culture Studies. Her research interests are Rabbinic literature, the history of early halakhah, Qumran literature, and Flavius Josephus. In 2010, Vered was a recipient of the Michael Bruno Memorial Award.
