Talmud & Ancient Jewish Literature
Vered Noam is a professor in the Department of Jewish Philosophy and Talmud at Tel Aviv University. She received her PhD in Talmud from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1997, and was a research fellow at the Hartman Insitute, before joining the Tel Aviv University faculty in 2004. Her fields of research are rabbinic literature, Second Temple literature, and early halakhah.
Prof Noam has received numerous awards and fellowships, including a TAU Prize for Outstanding Lecturer (2002) and the A.S. Rosenthal Prize (2000).
