Yuval Feldman is a full professor of the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University. He obtained his PhD (in Jurisprudence and Social Policy) from UC Berkeley in 2004, after receiving his LLB and BA (in Psychology) from Bar-Ilan University in 1998.

His areas of research include behavioral analysis of law, experimental law and economics, ethical decision-making, regulatory impact and social norms, compliance, and formal and non-formal enforcement strategies. From 2011 to 2013, Feldman was a Fellow of the Edmond J. Safra Institutional Corruption Lab at the Harvard Law School and of the Implicit Social Cognition Lab at Harvard's Faculty of Psychology. Since 2014, he has served as a Senior Fellow of the Israel Democracy Institute, advising various governmental bodies on behaviour-informed policies in areas related to corruption, regulatory design, and enforcement.

In 2016, Feldman was elected to the Israel Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities. He received various national fellowships and awards, including the Rothschild Fellowship, the Fulbright Fellowship, the Alon Fellowship, the Olin Fellowship, the Zeltner Prize for a Young Researcher (2008) and the Cheshin Prize for a Senior Researcher (2019), in addition to more than 20 competitive research grants. He has co-authored more than 50 papers in top journals in the fields of law, management and psychology. Feldman serves on the editorial boards of the journals Regulation and Governance, Law & Policy Journal and the European Journal of Law and Economics, and is among the founders of ComplianceNet, an interdisciplinary and global network of compliance scholars.  Some of his research on how behavioral sciences could inform the legal theory and practice of regulation, enforcement, and compliance appeared in his book, The Law of Good People (Cambridge University Press, 2018).
