Benjamin is a professor in the Department of Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science. His research interests are: the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms underlying the assembly of cell adhesions and the generation of adhesion-mediated signals; the mechanisms of cellular contractibility in adhesive interactions and the involvement of the cytoskeleton in the reinforcement of adhesion sites.
