David is a professor in the Department of Comparative Religion at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests are: Jewish hellenistic literature; Philo of Alexandria; early Christian biblical interpretation; rhetoric and persuasion in early Christianity; philosophy and religion in late antiquity.
